Balloon Weights

If you plan on using balloons as the table centerpiece for an event, you will probably need balloon weights as well. These weights are usually a bit more than a simple anchor for the balloon. They can be highly ornate and often contain party favors for the guests.

The most basic balloon weights are often just an object that has been wrapped in decorative paper. Nearly anything that is heavy enough to keep the balloon from floating away can be used. The paper used to wrap these objects is normally chosen because it matches the party theme or colors.

Gift bags are often used as balloon weights. The bag is used to hold anything from simple party favors to candy and other food items. This is a simple idea that has a lot of potential for many different situations.
